Good honest food, fair prices and very friendly atmosphere. One of the best traditional places in town!

Quaint Bavarian restaurant with excellent cuisine. We would love to come back ??

Were there for the first time a few weeks ago. The beer garden was very nice, service was ok. The food was good. When we wanted to stop there for the second time, the waitress told us that we could stay but that the cook had injured himself and that it would take a while with the food. We were very grateful for the honesty. We then left, but when we're back in Mittenwald: gladly again at any time.

We were in Mittenwald for the second time this year and for the second time in the Stern. The service is excellent, friendly, extremely helpful and the food is first class. In addition, you can sit in the beer garden really great in the center. We will be back definitely!

Had dinner here for the second time tonight. The food tasted fine and the service was friendly and attentive. The only downside for me that the food should have been served a little earlier.

Cozy guest house with newly renovated rooms, a beautiful beer garden, delicious food, friendly staff and a central location. We felt comfortable and would love to come back

The food is delicious. We had the roast venison and onion roast. The service was very friendly. I can only recommend it.

Great inn with great food. Mega nice gentleman as a waitress. Maybe serve a little hotter. Still got full marks. Recommended by our mom, who lives in Mittenwald.

The only negative point 2 people and I had my meal 10 minutes before my wife and the salad came with her meal. Were 6 weeks ago with 10 people and everything was OK ... so certainly an exception, food as always top.

The food was delicious and the portions were very large, the ingredients come from the region. The food came very quickly too, the waiter was friendly. I've been there several times, always to be recommended until now.

Staff could be friendlier and more attentive. Food is middle class. Conditionally recommended for lack of alternatives.

The food was really great! Huge portions and very tasty. It was super crowded and you could tell that almost all of the waiters were overwhelmed. Nevertheless everyone was very friendly and quick!

Very very tasty .. Great and quick service

The restaurant, like many other restaurants, has a nice atmosphere, but not every restaurant offers that even when it is very busy. Everything sounds delicious in the Bavarian menu and you can find various delicious dishes even for several visits, but the menu is not the largest. If you have reserved at 6:30 p.m., a few dishes are already out and the arrangement is not necessarily the best, as ordered food can still be out after ordering. But the most important thing is the food; unlike in some other restaurants, it doesn't get here after 5-10 minutes - which is often a bad sign, because it's not through or not warm yet - but it also doesn't take so long that it falls into the unbearable range ( with many guests it takes at least 30 minutes). The meat is always well done and not tough or half done, the salad well dressed and the food nicely decorated. For small children there is a small playground outside by the terrace (not covered). Great service both from the man and woman, they were really extremely nice. Food was also pretty good, we had Spinatknödel, Schweinebraten and Fish, prices are also very good

We were there several times this week. So eating was good taste typical Bavarian food. The service was quick and gave everything that was possible. And partly ran but was overwhelmed by the sheer number of people. We can still say it's worth going, we were satisfied with the overall package.

Always amazing food and atmosphere. Came here in 2019, 2020 and looking forward to come again. The lady, main waiter with longer hair, she is super nice. Danke!

We had a perfect time here. The room was new, clean and comfortable. The food was wonderful and the staff spoke English and were incredibly friendly. The price was good and included breakfast and WIFI. It is close to the shops and all round a great spot!
